Aslla Symposium is an invitation-only, small event that lasts several days in a quiet, beautiful town of Korea. It is designed to encourage in-depth discussions of frontier research between leading scientists around the globe, as well as networking between the world’s renowned scholars and young, talented researchers. Aslla Symposium is funded by the Korean government and currently organized by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
As part of this prominent program, we had one meeting about haptics with the theme of Emerging Topics in Haptics, from January 29 to February 1, 2019, at Gangneung, South Korea. Many experts in haptics participated in this event, and presented and discussed various novel and exciting research topics in haptics. This website provides an archive of the talks and discussions we had, in a hope that they can contribute to shaping the future of haptics to some extent.
